Since then my computer randomly turns itself off. I get a blue screen with white writing then it reboots itself. Can anyone help? Thanks

Did you uninstall Norton properly?

If it was not uninstalled or it was not uninstalled correctly, it may still be interfering with the other programs.

The Symantec Website have a number of uninstall tools to make sure every last piece of any Norton product is removed.

Have you un installed norton?Windows has its own firewall.
Valid point, have you actually uninstalled Norton? Quite often you'll find you need to use Symantec's own uninstaller for this, it's a b*gger to remove properly otherwise. I suspect that the anti-virus element of Norton is fighting with AVG, that often happens.
If you are using Windows XP sp2 then there is a firewall included. It is accessed through control panel. It does a good enough job.

Be careful with your pctools account. I used them for some years and renewed anually, but a couple of years ago they changed their admin to automatically charge your credit card without asking.
take everything off but avg, dont need them
Norton is a pain in the a-s-s to fully remove from your puter!!!
