Vista wireless connection security settings do no match?

I live in an apartment with a shared connection with my building. They recently "updated" the system. I don't really know what they did, but now my vista based laptop will not connect. The wireless works every where else. The network list just says, "The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network"

I've checked to see if my IP and DNS were automatic. I was surprised to see IP version 6 and 4.

Any advice would be awesome.

You will need to change the existing connection to match the "new" settings. I have had this issue with visita as well. If you open the wireless connections, go to advanced settings click on the "saved" SSIDs you can either delete the exisiting one, and start over (easy) or you can modify the settings to match the "new" upgraded system. Visita and XP store these for future use, problem is if one changes it "Doesn't match" so just delete the existing one and recreate it.

If they changed the password for the system or the type of encryption WEP to WPA etc this will correct the issue.

You may want to turn off the IPv6 which can also cause issues with Wifi in some locations.
